Salesperson for English Training Programs

Nanjing Marketing Group is seeking a full-time salesperson for a client that provides high-end English language courses in London, England.
The client is a very reputable, high-end English-language training school in London, England. The school is high-quality, high-priced and has been in operation for over 40 years. They are highly successful and would like to be more successful with Chinese students. Nanjing Marketing Group is a Chinese-language Internet marketing agency incorporated in Canada with offices in Nanjing, China.
The primary job responsibility will be communicating with potential clients in order to 1) promote the school, 2) screen for only the most appropriate clients and 3) sell the school’s English programs to only these clients. It is very important that only genuine students are given an opportunity to study at this school. The school has “highly trusted sponsor” status with the UK government, meaning they are able to help students obtain visas. However, this also means they see potential customers that claim to be students in order to attempt to get a visa. It is part of the salesperson’s responsibilities to screen out such non-genuine students.
The successful candidate will work closely with several Nanjing Marketing Group staff members that are involved in promoting the school to Chinese Internet users. This job may be performed from home, although travel will also be involved. Specifically, the successful candidate should be willing to travel to other cities to meet with potential clients or Nanjing Marketing Group staff members.

The successful candidate must:
- Be a native Chinese speaker and resident of China.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Have at least two years of experience in sales.
- Have a university degree in business or English studies.
In addition, the following would be considered assets to the role:
- Experience in the education or language study industry.
- Experience in online marketing, particularly social media.
- Previous experience working with English-speaking western people.
